Stefan Brüggemann, born in Mexico City 1975, works between Mexico and London. The choice of words used in these paintings and installations are typically provocative, acerbic and topical, utilized for both form and meaning. Brüggemann’s word play create a bold and pertinent body of work, focusing on themes of appropriation and displacement.
