Mestre Projects was founded in New York by Jose Mestre in 2010 with a core philosophy of collaborating and building exhibitions with historical, contemporary, and emerging artists around the world.

Since 2017, Mestre Projects has settled its permanent exhibition space in the vibrant art community of The Bahamas. The contemporary gallery’s diverse programming focuses on showcasing and representing international, Bahamian, and Caribbean artistic practices and cross-cultural dialogues. The gallery has exhibited in prominent art capitals such as Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong, and more.
